Well, I wasn’t going to pull a Jon Acuff “Jesus Juke” but I can’t seem to help myself.
The whole Harold Camping prediction of the rapture has only made me think one thing:
What if Christians sold out to spread the Good News the way they did to spread the predicted end? Jesus still has the power and victory to save lives, and if we sold out for that cause instead of a false prophet, think of the lives that could be changed. With the amount of money spent on that campaign, think of the hungry that could be fed? Think of the homeless that could be sheltered? The neighbor who you could help through a rough time?
What have you ever sold out for? What do you believe in enough to sell out for now? What does “selling out” look like to you?
