Hey Miss Toni! I’m so glad you are taking a little time out of your day to hang out with me. Let’s start with a few easy questions.

What do you drink when you’re writing? Usually water, but if I had my choice, I’d prefer Starbucks’ Green Tea Latte with almond milk. I drink it hot in the winter, iced or Frappuccino style in the summer.

Do you have any pets? Do two kids count?
Haha. Yes, definitely.

Beach or mountains? The beach most definitely!

PC or Mac? Both

What was the last book you read? Kara Isaac’s Start With Me, but by the time this is live, probably a few others.

What author(s) has/have really influenced you? So many! Becky Wade, Melissa Tagg, Sarah Monzon, and more!

What does your family think of your writing? My kids wonder why I don’t write a book with pictures or some type of superhero story. My husband thinks of it as my ministry. 😊
Husband props! That is fantastic!

How does your faith influence your writing? I wouldn’t know how to write without God so my faith permeates my writing. 😊

How did you come up with the title for your book (and what is the title)? I had such a fun time picking out the titles in my Faith & Fortune series. The Truth About Fame was really simple. Tori Bell is a supermodel and knows life isn’t that great for the rich and famous. So the title came to mind quickly.

How quickly did you connect with your MC? From the moment she popped in my head. I had an idea of who she was, what she’d been through, and how she was today.

Did any part of this story make you cry while you were writing it? Yes, but I don’t want to give that scene away. There were tears all around.

What part of writing this book did you struggle with? The stalking and suspense were all new to me. I normally write strictly romance.

What part of writing this book did you celebrate the most? The end! Lol. I always love when I finally finish. Then I celebrated its release with a slice of dulce de leche cheesecake. 😊
YUM! Congratulations!

When a reader reaches the end of your book, what do you hope you’ve left them with? With the desire to pick up another book of mine. 😊

My life has always been in the spotlight. Born to two famous parents and then quickly rising to “super” status in the modeling world ensured that I, Astoria “Tori” Bell, would always have my image plastered across newsstands. Unfortunately, adoring fans weren’t always magnanimous and now I have a stalker on my hands.

Oddly enough, the tall, dark, and all-too handsome bodyguard hired to protect me seems more harmful than the threatening notes from the stalker. As well as his plan to flush out the danger by proposing a fake engagement.

The lines between pretend and reality blur and I have to shore up my resolves. Baggage from my past means I can’t let myself be vulnerable. But the way Marcel Fox treats me has me thinking otherwise.

With a new rock on my finger and the man who put it there by my side, happily ever after seems like a possibility or is that as fake as my public persona?

This final question will wrap up our interview:

What is your dream writing space and do you have it already? Oh, I love this question! I do not have it. I imagine bookshelves all around me, except for the bay window overlooking the ocean. That area has a cushioned window seat where I can curl up and switch up my view. My desk would be able to accommodate a stool for my legs and all the writing/reading paraphernalia I’ve collected over the years. I’m thinking a room decorated in whites, pastel pinks, and blues.
Mind if I drop by for a writing session when you have this fabulous space??
